Fear vs Reality

Before an ask, say how loud the fear is. After, say how bad it really was. Nomentous keeps the score.

After a no: Fear said 4, Reality 2, with the line Fear was wrong. Filed.
What it does

Three things.

  1. Fear check

Before you go: fear 1 to 5, and what you expect to happen. One tap, always optional.

  2. Reality check

After: how bad was it really? Nomo files the gap. "Fear said 4. Reality: 2."

  3. A proof file

Stats shows how often your fear was wrong. Honest too: spot on and rougher than feared are on file.

Why it helps

Fear makes predictions. Most are wrong, and by the next ask you've forgotten.

The proof file remembers for you. Next time fear says 5, you have receipts.

Nomo

Fear said 4. Reality: 2. Filed.

  1. Fear check before an ask: a 1 to 5 scale set to 4, and Awkward silence picked as the expectation.
Before: how loud is the fear, and what do you expect?
  2. Stats proof file: Your fear was wrong 42 of 48 times, with fear and reality averages.
The proof file: how often your fear was wrong.
  3. Proof file on day 8: fear was often spot on, and the line says you went anyway.
When fear was right, that's on file too. You went anyway.
